Eight questions. Real answers.
Every month, Corporate Edit pulls up a chair with a woman worth knowing - founders, creatives, executives and change makers who have built something, show up with intention and know that how you dress is part of how you lead.
THE EDIT SITS DOWN WITH...
Women worth knowing.

01Tell us who you are and what you have built.
We began with KAILO Wellness Medispa, creating a luxury destination where medicine, wellness and nutrition come together to support guests across all aspects of their health journey. From there, we created KAILO Nutrition to bring that philosophy into daily life through premium, super-blended supplements. Süreyya Kahve is the next expression of our vision: a place where nourishing food, beautiful coffee and genuine connection bring people together.
Together, these businesses form a connected wellness ecosystem. We’re passionate about helping people connect with their own wellbeing and with a community that shares that journey. Through inspiration and education, we hope what people experience with us stays with them long after their visit and helps them to care for themselves each day.
02What does a typical morning look like for you before you head into work?
My mornings start at 4am with a coffee and a sneaky episode of “The Real Housewives” while the house is still quiet. Then I’m off to Pilates at 5:15am, before coming home to get my three children ready and off to school. From there, I head into either KAILO Wellness Medispa or Süreyya Kahve.
I’ve always loved an early start. That time to myself helps me gather my thoughts, and moving my body puts me in the right mindset to take on a busy day feeling energised.
03What is the one piece in your wardrobe you reach for most when you need to feel confident?
I’m a winter wardrobe girl through and through, so the piece I reach for most is a beautiful knit and love pairing it with great jeans and heels, and I feel comfortable, confident and completely myself.
04What is the best piece of advice you have ever received, and who gave it to you?
“What are you willing to lose?” A friend shared that question with me. She’s one of Australia’s most successful female founders, and her words have stayed with me.
Every meaningful commitment asks something of us, whether it’s in business, relationships or motherhood. Her advice taught me to be honest about the sacrifice before making the decision. How much time with my family am I prepared to give to growing a business? What amount could I afford to lose and still be okay walking away?
It’s a confronting question, but it helps me make choices with my eyes open and stay clear on what matters most.
What are you willing to lose?
05What do you wish someone had told you before you started your business?
I wish someone had told me to protect my health with the same commitment I gave the business. Set clear foundations for good nutrition and movement, and return to them whenever you can.
There will be seasons when you can hold those boundaries and seasons when a project needs everything you have. I’ve experienced burnout, and I’ve seen it in so many fellow founders. I don’t believe we can have it all at once. Life, family commitments and business move in stages, and understanding that takes away some of the pressure to do everything perfectly, all the time.
06How do you switch off at the end of a big day?
I switch off by disconnecting from my phone so I can connect with my family. I put it away for a solid 90 minutes around dinner and give them my full attention. When time permits, I’ll go for a walk too and if I'm really lucky might even bribe my children to come with me!
That space helps me decompress after a big day. Our evenings can be busy, so I focus on being truly present in the time we have together. For me, that quality matters more than the quantity and they really do grow up right before your eyes so that time is precious.
07What is your current favourite piece or look on Corporate Edit?
I love this question because I’m absolutely loving my new purchases from Corporate Edit! The Lior Skirt and Jessie Shirt are divine. Together, they feel elevated with just the right amount of cool-girl energy, which, as a woman in my mid-forties, isn’t always an easy balance to find!
08Finally, finish this sentence: The woman I admire most is...
The woman I admire most is my mother. She taught me through her actions that anything is possible when you keep showing up, putting one foot in front of the other and going the extra mile.
Watching her showed me that I could be both a mother and a businesswoman, and that I could be proud to bring my children along on that journey. I want them to see what passion and hard work can make possible. When times are hard, you dig deeper and keep going. That’s something my mother lived, and it’s something I carry with me every day.
